Why hire?

If you’re planning to wear your hat once, hiring a hat  means you don’t have the financial investment of buying or commissioning a hat. Hire your hat or headpiece, have a fantastic day, then return it afterwards. It’s also ideal if you’re just getting into millinery and you’d like to try different styles for special occasions.

 

Encouraging sustainable fashion

Renting your headpiece also helps the environment. You can wear the same outfit multiple times, but create a unique twist by changing your headpiece every time. This way, you can create multiple looks with one outfit - making your style more economical and sustainable. With hat hire, you can do this without having to purchase a new hat or outfit every time. 

 

How does hat hire work?

Hats can be hired for a weekend, a week 48 hours for busy race meetings (Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival, York Ebor & Aintree Grand National Meeting). Hats can be booked up to a year in advance, or the day before the event. Please bear in mind that during busy periods your choice may be limited, so it is best to book early. To secure your booking hire must be paid for in full. A further deposit is paid the day before collection and is fully refundable once the hat is returned in it's original condition. 

Hats can be collected and returned to my home studio, or postage can be arranged for an extra cost. Cancellations are charged at 50% up to 4 weeks before and 100% after.
